NeuroStar TMS Therapy Continues to Grow as a Standard of Care for Patients with Depression

The Elata Foundation is a nonprofit organization, created to promote research in the growing field of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). We are dedicated to bringing TMS out of the research lab and into the clinic, so that it can be used to safely and effectively treat the patients who need it most.

Numerous peer-reviewed studies have given hope to the millions who cannot otherwise be helped by any other modern therapy. It is estimated that up to 30 percent of depression cases are resistant to other treatments - an estimated 4 million people a year, in America alone. For these people, TMS has been hailed as a life saving breakthrough.

As Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is a relatively new technology, public education is an important part of our mission. Elata has compiled educational material as well as an FAQ which will help to inform the public about the possibilities of TMS therapy. Our goal of an informed public is never ending, so please contact us if you have any questions.

We have recently added information pertaining to clinics where TMS therapy is offered.
